Kaitseväe Akadeemia, Balti Kaitsekolledži ja Kaitseliidu maja

Ajaloolise postijaama kohale rajati 1940. aastal Kaitseliidu maja ja sellest sai 1954. aastal Eesti Põllumajanduse Akadeemia (praegu Eesti Maaülikool) peahoone. Nüüd on hoone Kaitseväe Akadeemia, Kaitseliidu Tartu maleva ja Balti Kaitsekolledži käsutuses. Hoone ees oli nõukogude ajal Lenini kuju.

Building of the Estonian National Defence College, the Baltic Defence College and the Estonian Defence League 

In 1940, the Defence League building was constructed on the site of the historical post station, and in 1954, it became the main building of the Estonian Agricultural Academy (now the Estonian University of Life Sciences). Today, the building houses the Estonian National Defence College, the Tartu district of the Estonian Defence League and the Baltic Defence College. In the Soviet period, there was a statue of Lenin in front of the building.
